Mediation Services
Professional, impartial mediation to create clarity, progress and workable outcomes through dialogue.

What is Mediation?
Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process that gives people in dispute a structured, neutral space to talk things through. As an independent third party, I help you communicate more clearly, understand what’s driving the conflict, and explore what matters most to each of you.

Rather than focusing on blame, mediation focuses on progress. It helps you maximise common interests and minimise differences; whether that leads to a full agreement, a partial agreement, or simply a better understanding and a clearer way forward.

Mediation is an art, not a science. My role is to stay neutral and make the conversation safe, balanced and productive. As Anton Chekhov put it: “The artist must not judge his characters or their words, he must only be an impartial witness.” That’s a useful analogy for mediation - I don’t take sides, decide who is right, or steer you towards a particular outcome.
Instead, I guide the process by asking the questions that help you think differently, uncover options, and decide what’s workable. The mediator’s role is to ask questions, not answer them - you remain in control of the outcome.
What You Can Expect
How Mediation Works
We'll have a confidential conversation to understand your situation and whether mediation is the right approach.
A structured but flexible session where parties come together to have a facilitated dialogue. This may involve joint discussions and private meetings.
If agreement is reached, it can be recorded in writing. The outcome is determined entirely by the parties themselves.
